Lovely day for a boat race! Twelve ships went out to sail; can you work out how fast each ship went?

Facts about the boat race:
  1. Each ship (including PONTOONSMITH) had a different integer speed, between 1 knots to 12 knots inclusive.
  2. KNOT FURLONGS was faster than SAIL 'EM OREGON, which was faster than NAVY CROCKETT.
  3. OFF THE BATEAU and TIN PAN GALLEY were both among the three fastest ships.
  4. MOTORBOATING was twice as fast as NIGHT CAPTAIN, which was twice as fast as YOU'RE A PIRATE.
  5. REGATTA BLAST was three knots slower than TIN PAN GALLEY.
  6. SINKING AHEAD's speed in knots was the average of SAIL 'EM OREGON's and KNOT FURLONGS's speed.
  7. MR. MCBOATFACE's speed in knots was the square of YOU'RE A PIRATE's speed.

Oh yeah, here's how to tell the ships apart!
KNOT FURLONGS: Six vertical stripes
MOTORBOATING: Six vertical stripes
MR. MCBOATFACE: Two horizontal stripes
NAVY CROCKETT: Red diamond
NIGHT CAPTAIN: Two horizontal stripes
OFF THE BATEAU: Diagonal line from top-left to bottom-right
